Thank you for submitting an application to emBARK Dog Daycare! We will be contacting you shortly to set up an intake interview. The intake interview takes approximately 20 minutes and is done during the daycare hours (Monday through Friday from 7am to 5:30pm, as well as Saturdays during the winter months). One by one, we will let a dog meet your dog and let your dog acclimate to the daycare environment. We want to ensure that daycare is a good fit for your pooch and that they are comfortable here. We do not tolerate growling, reactive dogs or possessive behavior, as we work hard to ensure that dog daycare is a safe environment for all the dogs that play here. Some people choose to do the interview in the morning so that they can leave their dog to PLAY all day. There are two separate play areas: one for little dogs under 20 pounds, and one for big dogs.
What you will need to bring to the intake interview:
- Proof of a negative fecal exam stating that your dog is parasite free (done within the past month of attending their first day of daycare)
- Proof of current rabies vaccination
- Proof of either 3 distemper/parvo puppy shots and recent positive titers OR proof of recent distemper/parvo boosters
- Bordatella vaccination is highly recommended, but not required
- A happy dog ready to PLAY!!!!
Once your dog has proven that daycare is a good fit for them, they are welcome to come and play whenever they would like.
