Relaxed Rover is designed for dogs who do best with a slower pace, fewer distractions, and a little extra support along the way. This class is a great fit for dogs and handlers who want a quieter classroom, more practice time, extra support, gradually inclining curriculum with life skills and manners being gained along the way.
What to expect:
- Small class sizes with generous spacing between dogs
- A calm, low-arousal environment with minimal noise and movement
- Extra time built into each session — no rushing through exercises
- Individualized coaching and modifications based on your dog’s comfort level
- Force-free, science-based methods focused on building confidence, not just compliance
- Plenty of breaks and built-in decompression time
Skills include:
- Sit & Down — foundational cues for polite behavior
- Wait — helping dogs pause calmly before moving forward
- Recall — coming when called with enthusiasm
- Relaxing on a Mat — encouraging calm behavior at home or in public
- Household manners — polite greetings, settling, and more
We’ll also explore ways to make daily life more fulfilling through:
- Play‑based learning

- Confidence‑building games and relaxation exercises
Relaxed Rover helps dogs build confidence and connection while giving guardians a peaceful space to learn and practice together.
